Lie-Nielsen - Boggs Spokeshaves
The Lie-Nielsen - Boggs Spokeshaves are a collaboration between Kentucky Master Chair Maker Brian Boggs and Lie-Nielsen Toolworks. The Flat and curved spokeshaves are a hefty and solid 12 oz. 10 in. long with a 1 in. wide sole and Hickory handles. Designed for fine precise shaping work in all woods.
Available with both flat and curved soles. The approximately 5" radius on the curved sole is intended for inside curves. The sole can be modified by the user for tight radii.
Flat and Round Spokeshave Details:
Body and cap: Bronze
Handles: Hickory - Rosewood and Cocobolo are optional
Blade: 2 in. wide x 1/8 in. thick A-2 tool steel

The Boggs Concave Spokeshave (bottom of three spokeshaves above) has a 2 5/8 in diameter sole which makes this tool the right choice for working chair spindles and other round parts.
