The Lie-Nielsen No.10-1/4 Bench Rabbet Plane is also referred to as a Carriage Maker's Rabbet or Jack Rabbet Plane. There have been several versions of this tool but the 10 1/4 features cross-grain nickers and tilting handles and has not been made since the Second World War. It has never been made before in the Bedrock style. Weight 5 lbs. - Cross-grain nickers of A-2 tool steel cut cross-grain wood fibers ahead of the blade to produce a clean cut
- Handle and knob tilt to either side to more easily get the tool right into a large corner cut
