Dovetail layout gauge is suitable for laying out dovetails for drawers and smaller carcass pieces. Marked with a 1:6 for hardwoods and a 1:8 ratio for softwoods. It has the added advantage of allowing the user to lay the gauge flat across the endgrain to scribe a perpendicular line for starting the cut.
Gauge's brass beam is attached to a corrosion resistant black oxide steel body. Size: 3 x 2 ¼ inches. |
