Fret Saw w/Blade Tensioner - 5in. Depth
Fret saw comes complete with one dozen 12.5 tpi skip tooth blades suitable for removing the waste between Hand Cut Dovetails.
While some people prefer this saw's deeper throat, it comes at the expense of lesser tension on the blade. For most dovetailing applications we prefer our Fret Saw with the 3 in. throat. For wider boards, the blade can be bent about 30 degrees in the saw to allow the frame to clear the board. For more detail on this technique, see Rob Cosman's Hand Cut Dovetails DVD.
