The owner, Bob Zajicek, personally designs each tool with great attention to ergonomics ensuring they function as well as they look. He's a stickler for detail and goes the extra mile for quality using costly enclosed bronze ferrules and precision ground/hardened steel blades.

Kerf Kadet Marking Knife (Fourth from left in photo above)
Smallest knife designed to get into tighter spaces. Preferred by those doing very detailed work or having smaller hands.
Size: 7-1/4 in long - 1/2 in. diameter
Blade: 1-7/16 in long x about .027 in. thick of O-1 tool steel hardened to Rc 59-61
Ferrule: Enclosed bronze with 3 grip assist rings
Pattern Pilot Marking Knife (Second from left in photo above)
Medium size is most popular model. Best choice for a general purpose layout knife.

Largest knife designed to for heavy duty marking for large work such as making work benches or table base mortises. Preferred by those having larger hands.

Difficult to find, this is the very best example we've seen of this useful tool. It will drill tapered holes in hard and softwoods suitable foe starting small screws in locations where drilling would be cumbersome or impractical. The edges of the blade are crisp and sharp resulting in great cutting performance
