Wiha Square Reaming Awl with wood handle. As the name infers, the square shank allows this awl to ream out holes to a larger size. This makes it possible to enlarge holes in areas which would otherwise split if a round awl was forced in to do the same job.
Awls are not often treated kindly being a general purpose tool. The plastic handled version is for those needing a more durable tool ...and we think the shape fits well in the hand. |
