Palm Smoothing Plane - Gidgee - HSS Blade - 5in. long with a 1-1/8in. wide HSS blade is well suited to final smoothing of any small surface.

Gidgee is a native Australian wood which is a member of the Acacia family. Wood is carefully selected, cut and dried to produce a stable and reliable tool capable of long service.

• Blade material: High Speed Steel (HSS) Hardened to Rc 62 (Made by Academy Saws)
• 60 degree cutting angle works well on figured grain and reverses to 90 degree cutting angle creating a scraper plane useful on difficult grain

• Tee handle permits plane to be pushed or pulled and is easily removed for other hand-grips
