HNT Gordon Shoulder Planes - Gidgee & Brass
Shoulder planes are used to trim the shoulders and cheeks of tennons, and to produce rabbets. A very desirable tool for furniture joints, the plane size needed is related to the size of the joints to be made. People frequently start with a 3/4 or 1 inch size.
