Hock Block Plane Blades
Selecting the correct blade for your block plane is easy. Measure the width of the blade and width of the slot in your existing blade. In the listing below you should find a selection of both an A2 Tool Steel and a High Carbon Steel blade for your plane.
Hock's High Carbon Steel blades are far superior to chrome-vanadium blades supplied with most new tools. The A2 Tool Steel is more resistant to wear when used in abrasive woods containing high levels of silica such as tropical hardwoods.
