Norton Flattening Stone For Waterstones
This stone is designed to maintain a flat surface on Norton Waterstones. Norton waterstones get their fast cutting characteristics because they are softer than traditional sharpening stones. Because of this, they lose their flatness quickly.
The coarse grit silicon carbide promotes maximum cutting while the diagonal grooves provide a swarf removal exit during the process. For best results, bring the waterstone to the flattening stone. The stone comes in a plastic storage case with instructions.
