Guaranteed not to hollow or groove, DMT’s precisely engineered Dia-Sharp Bench Stone with continuous diamond surface assures consistent, even sharpening every time.
The 8 in. length is great for both long and short knives, chisels, plane blades and straight razors, providing cutting edge performance for a quick, keen edge on small contact areas and pointed tools. All 8 in diamond plates are furnished with non-skid rubber feet.
Extra-Extra Fine diamond (2 micron / 8000 mesh) for super sharp edges.
Extra-Extra Coarse diamond (XX) - (120 micron / 120 mesh) for extreme removal of material and edge repair. They are well suited for flattening conventional and water stones such as those made by King and Norton. Using grits finer than this to flatten waterstones may damage the plate and is not covered by warranty
Diamond grade clearly marked on side of stone. Sharpening with diamonds is fast and easy. We recommend lubricating stones with water.
