DMT Diafold Magna-Guide Sharpening System
Are you having difficulty sharpening your kitchen knives? - or tired of the time and mess involved with using a countertop electric sharpener?
If so, this is the system for you. It's quick, painless and doesn't leave your countertop covered with a thick layer of ground metal.
There are two main parts:
- A guide which clamps at the center of the back of the blade and is tightened with a thumbscrew
- The Diafold sharpener with fine and course sides plus a rod held in place by rare-earth magnet
A table is included in the illustrated instructions which permits you to select a specific bevel angle. After you've used it a couple of times you will find that you can simply rest the Diafold on the knife edge and adjust the angle by eye.
This is not a skill based sharpening system - If you can follow basic instructions, you will be getting great results in no time.
It requires very little space in a kitchen drawer and is a great gift for campers, fishermen and hunters.
