Miller Dowel Joinery Kit & Supplies
Wooden pegs have been used since Medieval times to fasten planks, secure joints in timber frame construction, and even to build elaborate helicoidal stairs. Miller Dowel invented a way to make use of these elegant time-proven fasteners simple and quick. The possibilities are endless!
Quick installation in four steps. - See above 1. Align and secure the pieces to be joined then drill the pilot hole. 2. Add glue and insert the Miller Dowel by hand. 3. Tap/hammer the dowel in until it is seated. 4. Trim the raised portion flush with a saw.
All you need to get started are a TruFit bit and some Miller Dowels.
Three sizes:
"Mini-X" Miller Dowel & bit - For joining top boards up to 3/4 in. thick
"1x" Miller Dowel & bit - For joining top boards up to 1 in.thick
"2x" Miller Dowel & bit - For joining top boards up to 1-1/2 in. thick
Kits contain 1 TruFit bit and 50 Birch dowels or you can purchase bits and dowels separately. All sizes available in Birch, Red Oak, Cherry, and Black Walnut. - Drill with 3/8 in. chuck recommended.

Point 2 Point - Tool allows you to select the spacing you desire by visually dividing a board - Opens to 24 in. - Set the spacing you need, lock it, then mark the locations for all of your drawer Miller Dowels.
