How do I return an item?

Customer Guarantee: We guarantee you will be 100% satisfied with your order or we will accept it for return for a full refund of your purchase price. - See our Return Policy below for the details.

Return Policy: Our No-Questions-Asked Return Policy is simple. Within 30 days of receipt of your order, you may return any item (except as noted below) with its original packaging and accessories in its original condition for a refund. Shipping and handling charges are non refundable. Items with free shipping, or Price Matched against other reseller's free shipping, will be refunded less shipping costs.

Electronic Media - All items delivered in DVD, or CD format must be returned unopened for refund, otherwise defective media will be replaced in the same format and title only.

Factory Sealed Products are charged a 20% restocking fee if the seals are broken. These products include DMT D8/10 series 8" and 10" Diamond Plates and Shapton GlassStone® waterstones and accessories.

Special Orders - Lie-Nielsen planes ordered with corrugated soles or Rod maker's Groove are not returnable. - Lie-Nielsen tools ordered with Cocobolo upgrades are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Photo Variations - All images represent our products, to the best of our ability, within the limits of the internet and computer graphics. Unfortunately, individual computers reproduce color in vastly different spectrums, depending on video cards, monitor settings, etc. In view of this, we cannot guarantee that the image you see accurately portrays the actual product colors. The customer will be responsible for all freight charges incurred in shipping and/or returning of products for this reason.

If you have any questions regarding your order, or need to return an item please contact Customer Service via email giving your Order Reference Number and the item(s) you wish to return. We will provide you with a RMA number and shipping instructions.Items returned without an RMA will not be accepted or credited.

You may want to insure your return; we cannot be responsible for lost or misdirected returns. If you paid for your order by credit card, a credit will be issued and will appear on your billing statement.
